CJD Equipment is seeking an experienced HD Technician – Leading Hand to join our team in Launceston.

This position requires exceptional leadership and technical skills to mentor, lead, and direct the workshop team. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of self-motivation and ability to work without direct supervision, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mentor, lead, and direct the workshop team
  • Diagnose, service, and repair equipment to meet customer expectations
  • Assist the service manager with job costing, quotations, and retail repairs
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and customer service at all times

The successful candidate will have Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Motor mechanic trade certificate, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and experience in maintenance, servicing, repairs, and rebuilds of heavy vehicles. Electrical diagnostics and repairs are highly desirable.
