Sample Registration Officer

The role of Sample Registration Officer is a fixed-term position for 3 months at our Kensington Office. We are seeking to appoint several Sample Registration Officers in our Sample Registration departments who will be directly responsible for communicating with external and internal stakeholders, logistics, and registration of various types of samples such as Routine Quality Assurance, Quarantine, AQIS Imported Foods and Shelf Life samples.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting and prioritising samples for pre-registration or manual registration
- Receiving and labelling samples
- Directing samples to the correct laboratories
- Communicating with internal and external clients about basic queries
- Working closely within a team environment and autonomously
- Maintaining a safe working environment
- Assigning appropriate tests for the particular sample matrix
- Problem-solving, such as missing sample submission forms
- Working to strict deadlines
- Ensuring all work practices within the area are performed to the relevant standards and procedures
- Referencing and interpreting guidelines and regulatory requirements such as AQIS and IFIP
Ongoing drug and alcohol testing will be a requirement of working on site.
