Seeking Experienced Sports Trainers

We are in need of sports trainers to cover match days for our men's and women's senior teams. Ideal candidates will have a valid First Aid and CPR certification, Level 1 Sports Trainers Certificate or equivalent, and be willing to learn and develop their skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for new and experienced sports trainers alike to gain practical experience and work closely with a collaborative team of health professionals. Our training program includes mentoring and support from APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapists, as well as access to state-of-the-art equipment.

  • Coverage for Ashburton United Soccer Club
  • Mentoring and support from APA Titled Sports & Exercise Physiotherapists
  • Access to Alter G anti-gravity treadmill and AxIT strength testing
About the Role:

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing first aid and medical care to players during matches and training sessions. They will also assist with player development and provide guidance on injury prevention and management.

We require two sports trainers, one to cover each team. As a sports trainer, you will gain valuable experience and be part of a dynamic and supportive team environment.

Requirements:
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certification
  • Level 1 Sports Trainers Certificate or equivalent
