This is a dynamic role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining the overall cleanliness and hygiene of all kitchen and related areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring a clean and hygienic kitchen environment, including the washing of kitchen equipment and dishes;
  • Maintaining a constant supply of clean materials and ensuring that all kitchen areas are clean and well-maintained;
  • Cleaning of wash-up areas and ensuring that kitchen cleanliness is of the highest standard;
  • Complying with safety work procedures and WHS regulations;
  • Ensuring safe manual handling techniques at all times;

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role;
  • Good communication and teamwork skills;
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays;
  • Fully available to work unlimited hours (Citizen or Resident of Australia or New Zealand);
