About the Role

    We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Test Engineer to join our team at Pyramid Global Technologies. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure that our software meets the required standards of quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with our development team to ensure that testing is integrated into the development lifecycle, and that testing is automated wherever possible.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Jest, Mocha, and Cypress.
• Work closely with our DevOps team to ensure that testing is integrated into our Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Provide guidance and support to the development team on testing and quality assurance best practices.

Requirements

    To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in a testing or DevOps role, with a strong background in automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience in one or more of the following technologies: Java, JavaScript, Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Groovy, JUnit.
• Familiarity with testing UIs, APIs, automation of downstream systems, and related systems integration.
• Proven scripting or programming experience that conforms to good software engineering design principles and practices.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and consultative skills.
