**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our team in Victoria, Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for a medical professional with expertise in neurology and a passion for building relationships with scientific experts.

**Job Summary**

The MSL will play a key role in maintaining and communicating deep scientific knowledge, engaging in continuous learning to maintain the highest level of technical expertise within neurology. They will also excel at customer engagement, supporting the medical and scientific information needs of scientific experts, and providing unbiased, accurate, and up-to-date medical and scientific knowledge.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Maintain and effectively communicate deep scientific knowledge, including answering complex scientific questions and being sought after by customers based on peer-credible knowledge and expertise.

* Excel at customer engagement and support medical/scientific information needs of scientific experts through emotional intelligence and a deep understanding of their customers.

* Synthesize complex data and effectively communicate meaningful clinical insights and unanswered customer questions received from scientific experts to Lilly medical and cross-functional teams.

* Implement and evaluate a strategic territory plan prioritizing core MSL activities and take personal accountability for results.

**Requirements**

We are looking for an individual with previous MSL experience or field-based experience building relationships with scientific experts and key opinion leaders. An advanced degree in health sciences, such as Pharm D, MD, or PhD in a medically related field, is required, along with 2-3 years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience.

An ideal candidate will possess intellectual curiosity about the field of science/medicine, learning agility, self-directed work style, strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, and effective verbal and written communication skills.

**Benefits**

This is a full-time role based in Victoria, Australia, with a salary range of $120,000-$160,000 per annum, depending on experience. The successful candidate must be able to travel nationally with up to 80% travel and 4-6 weekends per year.
