WHS Manager Job Description

Woods & Co. is partnering with a national industry leader in the staircases industry to find a skilled WHS Manager. This role involves leading safety initiatives across multiple sites, ensuring the health, safety, and compliance of operations, and fostering a proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement WHS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and implement hazard controls.
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Oversee return-to-work programs and workers' compensation processes.
  • Deliver WHS training and ensure compliance with all safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in WHS management, preferably in high-risk industries.
  • Diploma or higher in Work Health and Safety (WHS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of WHS laws and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites and conduct hands-on inspections.
