Job Title: Steel Reinforcing Operations Manager

As a seasoned Steel Reinforcing Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the operations team to ensure the production and delivery of high-quality steel reinforcing products that meet customer demands, safety standards, and sustainability goals.

About the Role:

  • Lead the operations team in processing, despatch, stock control, and site safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the steel reinforcing sector.
  2. Advanced understanding of construction and manufacturing processes.
  3. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Change Management principles.
  4. Ability to work in a high-paced and demanding environment.
  5. Hold a Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent qualification.
