We are seeking an exceptional Early Learning Centre Director to lead our centre in Ashdale, Perth. As the head of our ELC team, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that inspires children to grow and thrive.

About Us:

The Y is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to making a positive impact in our community. Our early learning centres provide high-quality education and care for children from birth to school age.

Your Role:

You will have overall responsibility for the management and direction of our ELC centre, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. Your key duties will include:

  • Leading a Team: Collaborate with educators and staff to create a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Curriculum Development: Design and implement a high-quality learning curriculum that meets the needs of our children.
  • Staff Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and support to ensure staff are equipped to deliver exceptional care and education.
  • Centre Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the centre, including finance, administration, and facilities management.
  • Quality Improvement: Continuously monitor and improve the quality of our services, ensuring we meet or exceed regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Manager or Director in an early childhood setting.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Regulations.
