About the Role

Centacare is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at St Clare's OSHC. As an OSHC Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to primary school-aged children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging play-based programs that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of OSHC programs that align with the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place framework
  • Monitor and report on children's progress and development, and contribute to the development of individual learning plans
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being and safety of children and staff
Requirements
  • ACECQA-approved school age qualification (e.g., Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care)
  • Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Passion for working with school-aged children in a play-based environment
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place framework
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
