Financial Strategist, Merchandise Transformation

We're seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Merchandise Transformation team. As a trusted advisor, you'll work closely with our Pricing & Value team to leverage your financial expertise and strong communication skills to drive pricing strategy and enhance Coles' pricing decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting strategic discussions and analysis to enhance Coles' pricing strategy and decisions
* Supporting planning for value campaigns to ensure expected sales and margin outcomes
* Reporting on sales and margin uplifts of major value campaigns across the business
* Providing monthly submissions for group planning and investor relations on Coles' value activities
* Enhancing governance frameworks and forums to provide a comprehensive view of value investments across Coles
* Supporting pricing-related project spend, including business case development, forecasting, and steering committees
* Building compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate complex financial messages to senior and non-financial audiences
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* CPA/CA qualification with 2+ years' post-qualification experience
* FMCG or Retail experience highly regarded
* Excellent data manipulation and analytical skills, proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and TM1
* Proven ability to educate financial and non-financial stakeholders on key drivers of performance
