Compassionate Caregiver

Award rate $30.61 per hour, plus superannuation, paid kilometres, phone allowance, free uniform, shoe allowance, and discounts on car maintenance.

• Domestic assistance: Cleaning homes to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for older individuals.
• Meal preparation and shopping support to promote independence and nutrition.
• Providing social support and transportation to lifestyle activities, fostering meaningful connections and community engagement.
• Personal care, including bathing, dressing, medication management, mobility assistance, and therapy goal implementation.
• Offering respite and emotional support to alleviate caregiver burden and promote overall well-being.

• At least 6 months of experience in a similar role, including personal care skills.
• A current P1 class or above Australian driver's license and registered vehicle for travel.
• An ability to work independently, think critically, and adapt to changing situations while maintaining a positive attitude.
• A commitment to supporting older adults in achieving their goals and aspirations.
