We are seeking a talented Recruitment Specialist to join our People and Culture team, playing a pivotal role in attracting top talent for The Reject Shop's Store Operations Network.

This high-volume, fast-paced role involves partnering with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, screening CVs, and ensuring a positive candidate experience from start to finish. You will be responsible for:

  • Candidate Sourcing: Utilizing online channels, social platforms, and professional networks to find the best candidates, understanding the job profile.
  • Screening and interviewing: Conducting initial screenings, coordinating interviews, reference checks, and candidate conversations at pace.
  • Candidate Experience: Ensuring a positive candidate experience that reflects The Reject Shop's values by building relationships with external talent and developing future talent pools.
  • Metrics and Reporting: Monitoring and reporting on recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of hiring strategies and processes, ensuring timely SLA compliance.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated recruitment experience from a retail agency environment or retail internal recruitment role.
  • Experience using online advertising platforms.
  • Experience using ATS platforms – preferably PageUp.
  • A strong knowledge of recruitment within the retail sector.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure, multitask, and manage multiple expectations from hiring managers.
  • A track record of achieving KPIs.
  • A passion and drive for delivering exceptional candidate care and a quality recruitment experience every time.

We estimate an annual salary of approximately $65,000 - $80,000 AUD based on industry standards and qualifications required for this role.
