Renewable Energy Procurement Specialist

Zenviron, a joint venture between Monadelphous and ZEM Energy, is a market-leading engineering, procurement, and construction services contractor in Australia.

We have an opportunity for a skilled Procurement and Contracts Manager to join our team and contribute to the growth of our renewable energy projects.

This permanent role reports directly to the General Manager and involves managing all aspects of construction and subcontractor contract management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Negotiating and preparing contractual arrangements with clients and subcontractors;
  • Providing commercial and contractual advice to the project management team;
  • Developing supplier management programs and benchmarking vendors;
  • Reviewing client contract conditions and assisting with notice and claim preparations;
  • Identifying commercial, contractual, or procurement risks and issues;
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and key supplier contacts;
  • Ensuring compliance with contract terms and deliverables;
  • Analysing project and subcontractor cost reports and forecasts;

We are looking for a highly experienced professional with a tertiary qualification in engineering, business, or a legal discipline. The ideal candidate will have construction industry experience from EPCM, contractor, or client side and expertise in planning and financial reporting.

Key requirements include:

  • Thorough knowledge of contractual documentation and procedures;
  • Demonstrated experience in client and subcontractor negotiation;
  • Able to build robust stakeholder relationships;
  • Strong communication skills, including report preparation and written correspondence;
  • Experience managing a small team (highly regarded);
  • Proof of right to work in Australia.

To succeed in this role, you will require excellent interpersonal skills, a team-oriented approach, and commitment to continuous improvement. You should also be able to manage multiple aspects of work concurrently.
