We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Planning Coordinator to join our dynamic team at kikki.K. As a key member of the planning department, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and profit growth across all channels by developing and managing assortment plans, optimising inventory, and leading sales initiatives.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for maximising the sales and profit potential of assigned departments through detailed seasonal plans for sales, stock, open-to-buy (OTB), markdowns, stock turns, and gross profit (GP).
  • Monitor and analyse current performance, recommending re-plans to optimise future sales and profit performance.
  • Prepare and present post-seasonal analysis, identifying successes and opportunities for future planning.
  • Manage store gridding for allocations, factoring in sales performance, store capacity, and demographics.
  • Oversee stock allocations and replenishments to ensure timely and effective distribution.
  • Manage markdown processes, including loading promotions, preparing markdown style summaries, and aligning with the Merchandise Planner and Planning Manager on spend.
  • Continuously enhance reporting, option/range planning, and allocation/replenishment processes for improved decision-making and financial outcomes.

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of experience as an Allocator or Planning Assistant in a related field.
  • Experience in homewares, hardgoods, home textiles, or gift products is highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent in Business, Commerce, or Retail Management (preferred).
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with a high level of commercial acumen.
  • Results-focused with a proven ability to identify and maximise business opportunities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with merchandise planning systems is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of category and product-specific buying behaviours.
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
