With over 5 years of experience in complex network support, we are seeking a skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Brisbane.

About the Role
  • This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilize your infrastructure expertise in a dynamic environment where you can develop your skills and become proficient in all aspects of our service.

We require someone with a strong background in designing, deploying and maintaining cloud hosting infrastructure across multiple locations. Your role will involve managing and improving our BaaS/DRaaS service built upon Veeam products combined with local enterprise storage and third party storage options.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy IaaS infrastructure including virtualisation, enterprise storage, switching and physical DC infrastructure.
  • Manage and improve BaaS/DRaaS service built upon Veeam products combined with local enterprise storage and third party storage options.
  • Implement and deploy edge security appliances including VPN endpoints and NextGen firewalls.
  • Monitor and optimise the performance of the IaaS, BaaS and DRaaS platforms.
  • Act as escalation point for internal teams to troubleshoot issues related to these platforms.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Network design and management of core multi vendor network providing services including interstate backhaul, layer 2 multi-site connectivity and internet exchange.
  • Design and deployment of customer network services including internet and multi-site connectivity.
  • Configuration and deployment of Wireless LAN solutions.
  • Management and monitoring of Session Border Controllers for IP telephony.
About You
  • You must have at least 5 years of experience supporting complex networks on a daily basis.
  • You must be based in Brisbane to work onsite with clients and our infrastructure.
