About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and resourceful individual to provide domestic assistance to older people living in their own homes in Nowra and surrounding areas.

As a Home Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing a range of services to support our clients' independence and quality of life, including:

  • Assisting with household chores, such as cleaning and laundry
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Providing social interaction and companionship
  • Assisting with personal care, such as bathing and dressing

You will work independently, using your own vehicle, and will be required to travel to clients' homes and communities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification
  • A valid driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Previous experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in this field
  • Flexibility and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
