Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight for the planning, procurement, and delivery of capital projects across various Justice portfolios.
- Ensure effective delivery of capital projects across metropolitan, regional, and rural Victoria, achieving best value-for-money outcomes for Victorians.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and portfolio and central agencies.
- Lead high-performing teams and promote a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate commercial and financial risks associated with capital projects.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A significant record of achievement in leadership, with a track record of success in overseeing the delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrable experience in effectively managing commercial and financial risk across capital programs.
- Strategic understanding of and ability to keep abreast of emerging issues and risks that may impact the department's programs and service delivery.
- High-level communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to influence and provide authoritative advice at ministerial and senior executive levels.
- Highly developed relationship building and stakeholder management skills, with a track record in building and maintaining successful partnerships with a broad client base.
