Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at WT Partnership. As a key member of our cost management team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on construction costs and developing strategies to maximize value for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients, architects, and main contractors to ensure accurate cost estimates and effective project delivery.
  • Identify and facilitate new business opportunities through cost management and value engineering.
  • Develop and implement cost checking processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct tender evaluations and analysis to ensure best value for our clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage cash flow projects to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Prepare and present cost reports to stakeholders, including clients and project managers.
  • Evaluate variations and valuations to ensure accurate cost recovery.
  • Prepare and negotiate claims, and settle disputes in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Develop and implement benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy, and time-to-deliver cost models and plans.

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction.
  • Experience in cost estimating and planning software, including Cost X.
