Senior Project Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer to join our client for the delivery of a major infrastructure project. Due to continued growth, this is a newly created role due to the volume of work, with a significant scope of earthworks, roadworks, and office facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Design: Oversee all aspects of earthworks and roadworks, ensuring designs meet project and environmental standards.
- Contractual Management: Manage contract negotiations, administration, and compliance with project timelines and milestones.
- Financial Oversight: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and report on financial forecasts.
- Operational Planning: Collaborate with teams to coordinate logistics, manage community impacts, and ensure environmental compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with government bodies, contractors, and community stakeholders for seamless project delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering high performance and ensuring safety across all activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in civil engineering, including 5 years in roadworks and heavy civil projects.
- Strong project management, contract administration, and financial acumen.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in engineering software and project management tools.
Work Conditions:
- Monday to Friday role with the occasional Saturday
- Field and office-based work environments.
