About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Electrician - Maintenance and Repair Specialist.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing electrical and communication tasks in a safe and effective manner.

Responsibilities

  1. Perform all electrical and communication associated work tasks as required by your employer in a safe, effective, and productive manner.
  2. Actively participate in Stowe productivity management processes on a daily basis and complete work sheets as required.
  3. Always perform work in accordance with Project Specific Risk Management Plan (PSRMP)
  4. Report all unsafe practices, safety hazards, injuries, and incidents immediately to your Supervisor
  5. Ensure Stowe provided tools and plant are maintained and secured at meal breaks and at completion of the work day.
  6. Ensure total compliance with the current site tool list and provide a list of your personal tools to your Supervisor on commencement with our company or whenever changes are made to your tool kit.
  7. Completing Inspection & Testing Procedures (ITP's) and Final Inspection Certificates (FIC's)
  8. Maintain up to date paperwork (e.g., Simpro, timesheets, etc.), recording hours/material used for the purpose of completing Production Control Work Packs
  9. Maintain good communications with Leading Hands, Foreperson, and other personnel at all times
  10. Ensure compliance to all relevant Australian Standards and ACA Standards and maintain a current personal copy of AS/NZS3000
  11. Maintain ongoing skills development and Electrical licencing requirements
  12. Ensure Isolations are conducted in accordance with Stowe Australia's mandatory 4 stages of Isolation procedure
  13. Ensure all electrical work is conducted in accordance with the Stowe Australia Arc Flash Clothing requirements.

Requirements

  1. Current Unrestricted Electrical License as recognised by the State Authorities
  2. ACA Licence
  3. Current CPR & LV Rescue Certificate
  4. Construction Industry General Safety Induction
  5. Current Drivers Licence
  6. Electrical commercial construction, installation & data experience
  7. Well-developed time management & prioritisation abilities
  8. Communication – interpersonal & organisational
  9. Diligence to safe work practices
  10. Reliable and punctual attendance to work
  11. Contributes to achieve desired outcomes and a positive work culture
