Therapeutic Bodyworker

We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Bodyworker to join our team. In this role, you will provide holistic care to clients, enhancing their mobility and movement to promote independence and wellbeing.

You will work with clients with a wide variety of physical conditions and tailor your care to make a real difference in your client's quality of life. This role involves working within a collaborative team with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assessing symptoms and medical history, making a diagnosis and developing care plans for individuals
• Manipulating muscles and other soft tissue/s
• Educating and training clients on all aspects of therapy
• Providing clients with goal setting activities and guidance on stretching, strengthening and improving posture
• Referring clients to other healthcare professionals where required
• Liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored
• Documenting and reporting on client's condition and progress

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• A qualification in Remedial Massage and/or Myotherapy
• Registration with Medibank Private and other private health funds
• The ability to undergo a National Criminal History check upon successful application
