Senior Technologist

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Graduate Engineer to join our team at Cleanaway Waste Management.

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or someone looking to start their career in a dynamic industry.

The successful candidate will be based at our Narangba facility, where we transform waste oil into high-quality base oil products.

• Prepare technical procedures, work instructions, work schedules, estimates, and work method statements around work management and optimizing assets.
• Support engineering, infrastructure, and environment projects to deliver continuous improvement opportunities.
• Optimize plant performance for better yield and quality, with a strong focus on safety.
• Troubleshoot and investigate process failures.
• Report on plant performance and product quality.
• Manage inventory for the site.

• A degree in Process / Chemical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Ability to develop safety procedures and standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of risk assessment processes.
• Understanding of process drawings (P&ID, PFD, etc).
• Effective communication skills with the ability to prioritize within a dynamic environment.
• Solid organizational and planning skills, with high standards of accuracy and precision.
