We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker Level 4 to join our team at NSW Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist social work and counselling interventions to support families with complex clinical presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct complex psychosocial assessments and provide counselling to families with vulnerable children and adults.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to enhance parenting capacity and promote healthy family functioning.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and community agencies to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Provide clinical consultation and facilitate case reviews to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative professional relationships with other health teams, government agencies, and NGOs.
Requirements
  • Degree in Social Work from an accredited course providing eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
  • Extensive experience working with families with complex clinical presentations in relevant clinical settings.
  • Demonstrated advanced specialist therapeutic skills and ability to respond to the needs of vulnerable families.
  • Ability to utilise problem-solving skills and a multidisciplinary team approach in planning, delivery, and coordination of patient care.
  • Current unrestricted driver's licence and ability to maintain.
