About the Role:

Sailmaker, a 272-seat dining destination at Hyatt Regency Sydney, is seeking a skilled Host to provide exceptional service to our valued guests. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for greeting guests upon arrival, seating them, answering incoming calls and queries, and handling cashiering duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide warm and friendly service to guests
  • Work in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality service
  • Perform duties with utmost professionalism

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a restaurant environment
  • Excellent personal presentation and grooming
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Availability to work a rotating, 7-day roster including early morning starts and weekends
  • Valid Australian working rights
  • A valid NSW RSA
