Assistant Development Manager

TalentWeb is excited to partner with a leading privately-owned property developer to identify a qualified Assistant Development Manager.

In this role, you will play a crucial part in supervising and managing construction projects across various asset categories, including residential, industrial, and commercial. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with contractors, consultants, and other key participants to ensure successful project execution and adherence to timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects across residential, industrial, and commercial sectors.
  • Maintain and nurture strong relationships with contractors and consultants to ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality standards to achieve project goals.
  • Support the Development Manager with project documentation, reporting, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

About You:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years in a comparable position, with a focus on advancing towards Development Manager level.
  • Background: Local Australian experience in construction projects across residential, industrial, and commercial sectors is essential.
  • Previous Employers: Experience with a Property Developer or Client-Side Project Management firm is preferred. Experience with a Tier 1 or 2 Head Contractor, particularly in Design & Construct, will also be considered.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage contractors and consultants, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
