Accounts Receivable Position Overview

The Accounts Receivable professional plays a pivotal role in the financial management process, responsible for managing cash inflows and outflows, reconciliations, and timely collection of debts.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ownership of reconciliation and processing duties within the receivables department.
  • Timely collection of debts, including proactive account chasing.
  • Recommend Provision for Doubtful Debts at each financial month-end to the relevant accounting personnel.
  • Process credit notes and ensure accurate transaction recording.
  • Complete bank deposits/cash receipts and maintain organized records.
  • Upload claim files to relevant portals.
  • Establish new customer relationships and adhere to established procedures.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience within accounts receivable or similar finance roles is essential.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude; eager to learn and adapt.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment; excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
