Salary

The successful candidate will be offered a competitive salary package, estimated to be in the range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

As an Early Childhood Therapist with KU Children's Services, you will play a pivotal role in providing multidisciplinary early intervention supports for children aged birth to 12 years. You will work collaboratively with families, other professionals, and our experienced team to deliver tailored support and professional supervision.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing individualised plans to meet the diverse needs of children
  • Working closely with families to build strong relationships and promote effective communication
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure seamless support and advocacy for children and families
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting progress to stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A tertiary degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Provisional Psychologist will need to independently arrange external supervision
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining respectful relationships with a range of stakeholders
  • Experience in supporting the developmental needs of children
  • Experience in administering and scoring a range of assessments
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and oral
