Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Sydney, with regular travel to project sites and regional offices.

About the Role

This role involves working closely with our Engineering, Project Delivery, and Construction teams to embed quality into every stage of the project lifecycle. You will drive the standardisation and continual improvement of inspection and testing processes across projects, support project teams in setting up Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Certificates (ITCs), conduct internal and supplier audits, reviews, and system health checks, champion non-conformance and root cause analysis processes, provide hands-on quality support on-site during key project phases, and deliver training and guidance to project teams to uplift quality capability and embed best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the standardisation and continual improvement of inspection and testing processes across projects.
  • Support project teams in the setup and implementation of Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and Certificates (ITCs).
  • Conduct internal and supplier audits, reviews, and system health checks.
  • Champion non-conformance and root cause analysis processes.
  • Provide hands-on quality support on-site during key project phases.
  • Deliver training and guidance to project teams to uplift quality capability and embed best practices.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in quality, ideally on high voltage energy or civil infrastructure projects from either a project-based or centralised function role.
  • Recognised qualifications in Quality Management or a related field.
  • Certified or qualified quality auditor, with demonstrated experience planning and conducting audits in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 or equivalent.
  • Practical experience developing and implementing ITPs, ITCs, and inspection/testing systems.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, and familiarity with AS3000, AS3600 and AS4100.
  • Ability to travel regularly to project sites and regional offices (approx. 2 weeks/month).
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence.
