Job Overview

XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team. As an Automation Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving the development and implementation of automation frameworks for our web-based applications.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with hands-on experience in automation testing using QTP (UFT) and Selenium (WebDriver). Your expertise in BDD, Cucumber, Maven, and Java-based test scripts development will be essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Automation testing using QTP (UFT) and Selenium (WebDriver)
  • Selenium WebDriver-Java based test scripts development to automate Web based applications functional test cases
  • Automation frameworks development and running selenium scripts through CI/CD tools like Jenkins
  • Hands on in creating, modifying and enhancing Test scripts created in Selenium Web driver
  • Hands on in API testing using rest assured jars
  • Worked on Test/Project management tools like ALM,JIRA,TFS and MAVEN
  • Data base testing SQL Queries to validate data integrity, consistency, isolation and durability
  • Web services testing using SOAPUI ,REST
  • Good Understanding of SDLC, STLC and expertise in System, Integration Testing , Functional Testing , Regression Testing
  • Experience in Banking and Financial domain

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A strong understanding of automation testing methodologies and techniques
  • Hands-on experience with QTP (UFT), Selenium (WebDriver), BDD, Cucumber, and Maven
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of software development life cycles (SDLC) and testing methodologies
