About the Role

You'll be working as a Financial Partnerships Specialist, providing comprehensive financial partnering and analysis to aid our ANZ Bus Business Unit (BU) Leader and Functional Managers in decision-making and achieving business objectives.

  • Work with BU Leaders and Functional Managers to provide business partnering and financial information, tools, and analysis to aid in decision-making.
  • Prepare BU quarterly budgets and forecasts, reviewing them with BU Leaders and the Group Financial Controller.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly financial and management reporting to BU Leaders and key management team members.
  • Support bid teams in the preparation of complex bids and tenders, assessing financial and revenue recognition implications of bid structures.
  • Participate in project review meetings with Project Managers, reviewing hours expended and estimates to complete, monitoring project billing milestones, and reporting WIP balance and aging or deferred revenue positions.

You'll have the opportunity to train Functional Managers and Finance staff in processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with internal financial policies and procedures, and assist with audit responses as required.

What You'll Bring to the Role
  • CFA qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong experience in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to review and approve complex bids and tenders.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to monitor and report on project financials.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively partner with BU Leaders and key management team members.
  • Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and financial policies.
