Are you looking for a challenging role where you can deploy and automate one of the world's largest and complex networks?
">This Network Dev Engineer position involves deploying network infrastructure across all our network fabrics that supports various Amazon services. You will be responsible for collaborating with our automation teams to define tools that enable scalable deployment and operation.
">Key responsibilities include:
- Deploying network infrastructure across multiple global data centers, including existing footprints and greenfield locations.
- Scaling the network across multiple global data centers.
- Creating and improving simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality of delivery.
- Working closely with internal customers on designs/solutions; bringing those designs/solutions from concept to production.
- Creating and updating our network standards and ensuring that the network is deployed to these standards.
- Collaborating with automation teams to define tools that enable scalable deployment and operation.
Applicants must have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Telecommunications, or similar program graduating 2025.
- Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Experience scripting in languages such as Python, Perl, or Shell.
Desirable skills and qualifications include:
- Knowledge of IP Networking fundamentals and Routing Protocols such as BGP, OSPF, R&S.
- Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.
- Ability to handle ambiguous or vaguely defined challenges and articulate technical solutions through abstract thinking.
