Emergency Medicine Specialist Role

The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in emergency medicine, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional patient care. About the Position

As an Emergency Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergencies. This will involve assessing patients, diagnosing conditions, and developing effective treatment plans. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of emergency conditions
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective care
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Essential Qualifications
  • IMG with 10+ years' experience via STTP
  • NZ FACEM qualification or equivalent
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions quickly
