About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Bradnam's Windows and Doors. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering manufactured windows and doors products to our growing customer base across the Townsville region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all vehicles are in a safe, well-maintained, clean, and tidy condition.
  • Secure all items on the back of trucks and trailers before travel.
  • Practice good hygiene and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Complete all paperwork and check sheets as required and on time.
  • Contribute to good housekeeping at the branch.
  • Demonstrate and uphold a commitment to safe work practices.
  • Maintain a driver's diary and supporting paperwork in accordance with State and Federal Regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading the truck.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery instructions.
  • Comply with site requirements regarding mandatory PPE, sign-ins, or other processes and procedures.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate safe manual handling techniques and a positive work ethic. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A current driver's license (manual) with a clean driving record.
  • A construction white card.
  • Prior truck driving experience.
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety practices, including safe manual handling and lifting heavy loads.
  • Great communication skills, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
