The Securitisation and Funding Analyst is a key member of the Treasury business unit, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO Division plays a crucial role in supporting Great Southern Bank's mission of helping all Australians own their own home by providing expert financial guidance and strategic growth initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the team in meeting the bank's wholesale funding needs, which are essential for supporting the bank's purpose and strategic growth ambitions. The Securitisation and Funding Analyst will primarily focus on securitisation, but will also be expected to contribute to the broader Treasury Funding function as needed.
About You- You hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as Economics, Finance, Commerce, Business, or Mathematics.
- AFMA Accreditation or FINSIA qualification is highly desirable.
- You have a keen interest in and general knowledge of funding, capital markets, and financial markets.
- Experience with securitisation and/or trust management is highly regarded.
- You possess high standards of verbal and written communication skills.
- You have intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- You are passionate about financial markets, willing to learn, and have an intermediate understanding of securitisation and STW funding.
- You are a well-organised, programmatic, and outcome-oriented individual.
- You are able to work in a nimble manner and adapt to a dynamic environment.
- You possess a high attention to detail and strong ability to communicate at different levels.
