About this Role:

  • Join us as an ETL Tester to contribute to our team's overall test strategy and execute comprehensive test plans.
  • With 3-5 years of experience in data warehouse/ETL testing, you'll possess a strong background in SQL/PL-SQL to write complex queries for validating data against reports.
  • Your expertise will also include functional, manual, automated, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • You should be familiar with data warehouse BI testing using ETL tools with Teradata or Bigdata as a database, and have experience in validating dashboards/reports tools like Tableau and Power BI.
  • A thorough understanding of all aspects of the SDLC/STLC life cycles is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for creating and executing test scenarios by selecting the best methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for testing.
  • The position involves reporting on test status, execution, and logging bugs.
  • Additionally, you will contribute to various phases of projects adhering to STLC, including requirement analysis, test strategy, test plan, test design, test data creation, test execution, defect logging, and test closure (reporting).

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience with data warehouse/ETL testing
  • Strong SQL/PL-SQL skills
  • Experience in various testing types
  • Data warehouse BI testing experience
  • Experience with dashboard/report validation tools
  • Knowledge of SDLC/STLC life cycles
