The Reece Group is a leading international company with a strong focus on customer service and exceptional values. As a School-based Trainee, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in the plumbing and bathroom products industry.

The Role:

We are seeking Year 10 students to undertake a School-based Traineeship in partnership with Murray Mallee Training Company Ltd. The traineeship will involve working in a Reece branch and completing a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Embracing the Reece values and policies
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Completing all requirements of the certificate
  • Processing sales and managing stock
  • Answering phone calls and taking messages
  • Communicating with customers and staff
  • Building product knowledge and providing follow-up to customers
  • Contributing to maintaining a high standard of the branch

About You:

We are looking for students with the following attributes:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Team player with a strong work ethic

Students will be required to work the equivalent of one and a half days per week, with Saturday availability a must. Additional hours during school holidays are available and recommended to assist in your progress.
