We are seeking a detail-driven Product Development Specialist to take ownership of our growing product portfolio.
This is a vital role where your technical knowledge, eye for detail, and drive for innovation will help ensure every product meets the highest standards — from development through to launch and beyond.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Champion Quality: Implement and maintain robust quality control processes across our expanding industrial goods range.
- Develop New Products: Collaborate with suppliers, production, and internal teams to develop new products and enhancements that meet market needs and align with our brand standards.
- Create User-Friendly Documentation: Write clear, user-friendly installation guides, care instructions, and technical product documentation.
- Support Procurement: Work with the purchasing team to evaluate samples, assess suppliers, and ensure all new products are feasible, cost-effective, and high-quality.
- Be the Product Expert: Ensure everyone has the right product information, every time.
You Will Bring:
- Strong experience in FMCG product development, manufacturing, and quality control (3+ years preferred)
- Familiarity with road and safety products for the construction industry
- Strong understanding of ISO systems, AU/NZ Standards, and quality compliance requirements
- High attention to detail and a solutions-focused, hands-on approach
- Able to create clear installation guides, care instructions, and product specifications
- Experience working with local and overseas suppliers and factories
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive, can-do attitude
- Experience writing product manuals, guides, and technical documentation
