About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Data Analyst to join our team at Charterhouse Recruitment. As a Tax Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and reviewing monthly reconciliation, resolving tax discrepancies, and identifying and solving data issues arising from various operational processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and review monthly reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Resolve tax discrepancies and conduct in-depth analysis to better understand where issues are coming from
  • Identify and solve data issues arising from various operational processes
  • Improve data integrity by implementing effective data management strategies
  • Enhance existing processes and create standard operating procedures to prevent bottlenecks
  • Interact directly with internal stakeholders and resolve queries as they arise
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and provide technical advice to the business
  • Mentor and train junior staff members
Requirements
  • Similar experience preferred, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of tax and accounting concepts
  • Excellent Excel skills, with experience in using tools such as Alteryx
