Senior Credit and Collections Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Credit and Collections Specialist to lead our credit team on the Sunshine Coast. This role will be responsible for managing client relationships, staff, analysis, and debt management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with major client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Team Leadership: Set clear goals and KPIs for the team, mentor and develop team members to ensure optimum performance.
  • Operational Direction: Provide hands-on management and operational direction to the credit team, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance.
  • Reconciliations & Reporting: Oversee reconciliations and produce monthly and year-end reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Credit Assessment: Direct and manage the credit assessment process, including approval of limits and controls.
  • Collections: Discuss escalation of debt and referral with external parties, ensuring timely resolution.

Requirements

  • Experience: Strong commercial credit background with previous senior credit and collections experience.
  • Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Excel and other computer skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Qualifications: AICM Membership preferred.
