Position Overview
Skylight Mental Health is seeking a Community Development Officer to enhance our Community Connections program. This role is classified at SCHADS Level 4 and is designed for a 0.8 FTE commitment.
Role Responsibilities
The Community Development Officer will play a crucial role in:
- Facilitating partnerships within the community to create a unified support network.
- Integrating our programs effectively within local services and addressing community needs.
- Planning and leading community partnership meetings to foster collaboration.
- Networking with various stakeholders and delivering direct support to community members.
- Collaborating closely with Skylight’s Community Connections team and external partners.
- Managing administrative tasks and reporting obligations.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong community development skills.
- The ability to confidently lead and facilitate community meetings.
- Effective administrative capabilities.
