Job Description:

The primary role of this position is to oversee scheduling and detailing for reinforcing steel across various commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.

  • Develop accurate bar lists and schedules by interpreting construction drawings
  • Collaborate with builders, engineers, and site contacts to confirm requirements and changes
  • Effectively manage updates, RFIs, and variations
  • Communicate directly with internal teams: production, logistics, sales, dispatch
  • Maintain clear records of drawings, forecasts, and revisions
  • Provide regular updates to customers on progress, delivery, and lead times
Key Responsibilities:
  • Scheduling and detailing for reinforcing steel in commercial, multi-residential, and infrastructure builds
  • Reading and interpreting detailed structural plans, determining what's needed, and communicating directly with production, dispatch, and customers
  • Balancing timelines, technical accuracy, and shifting schedules
Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (scheduling/detailing)
  • Sound understanding of post-tension slabs and structural steel
  • Ability to read and interpret structural and construction drawings
  • Strong communication skills - speaking to customers daily
  • Experience with scheduling tools and software such as AutoCAD or Bluebeam
