We are seeking a talented musician to join our team of experienced instructors.

As a guitar teacher, you will provide expert tuition in music skills and techniques to students of all ages.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing lesson plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Assessing student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly
  • Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment

You will enjoy a great working relationship with your colleagues, regular training opportunities, and a range of incentives for excellence.

Required qualifications include Grade 7 (or similar standard) for the majority of teaching, with senior teachers teaching higher graded students.

Experience with music examinations is highly regarded, but not necessary as training can be provided.

Pay starts at $30 p/h for unqualified music degree students, rising to $35 p/h following degree completion, and up to $40 p/h for experienced studio-based teachers.

Work is during term times (10 weeks per term) between 3pm and 7/8pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 9am-3pm.
