Head of Technology Delivery

Coles is seeking an experienced leader to drive technology delivery excellence across the organization. As Head of Technology Delivery, you will be responsible for guiding and coaching project teams, providing governance and assurance, and ensuring the successful execution of technology investments.
This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of business transformation, digital, technology, and change delivery. You will work closely with the General Manager - Technology Strategy, Transformation, and Architecture to develop and execute a multi-year program to uplift delivery excellence.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving excellence in project delivery, with experience in managing large-scale, complex technology projects from initiation to delivery. You will also have excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
About You
We are looking for a seasoned leader with a strong background in project management, delivery methodologies, and technology. You will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in project management or delivery leadership roles, preferably in a technology-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year program to uplift delivery excellence
- Guide and coach project teams to ensure successful execution of technology investments
- Provide governance and assurance over technology investments
- Manage and develop high-performing teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage technology for greater business efficiency or effectiveness
