We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Speech Pathologist to join our team in rural South Australia.

About the Role

As a Generalist Speech Pathologist, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive range of health services, appropriate to the needs of the local community. You will work as a member of a multi-professional team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. They will be able to utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy, and evaluation approaches to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive range of health services for patients with communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication between healthcare providers.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on speech pathology principles and practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Degree-qualified Speech Pathologist with a strong clinical background.
  • Eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
