Leading Project Manager - Hardware R&D

We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive project execution and collaboration across global teams.

About the Role

This role involves overseeing milestones, deliverables, and reporting for both internally driven and externally funded initiatives.

  • Lead Opportunity Capture & Proposal Development – Coordinate competitive responses to funding opportunities, including task assignments, documentation, partner engagement, and submission
  • Drive Project Execution – Oversee milestones, deliverables, and reporting for both internally driven and externally funded initiatives
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management – Build strong working relationships with teams worldwide, translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders with clarity and confidence
  • Financial Planning & Tracking – Partner with Operations and Finance to ensure accurate budgets, forecasts, and expenditure reporting
  • Risk & Issue Management – Apply PMO best practices to anticipate, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on complex, multi-stakeholder projects in engineering, research, or technology environments.

Ideal Qualifications
  • PMO experience in a project or program management role
  • Track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in engineering, research, or technology environments
  • Experience managing projects in hardware R&D environments
  • Strong background in responding to grants, proposals, tenders, or other external funding opportunities
  • Experience in financial management for funded projects such as creating budgets, tracking procurement, and monitoring burn
