Clinical Mental Health Manager

As a seasoned mental health professional, you will be responsible for providing high-level clinical leadership and operational management to a team delivering mental health and rehabilitation services in correctional centres.
You will oversee service delivery, drive quality improvement, and foster a high-performing team culture. Your role will involve contributing to ongoing operational service integrity by providing clinical supervision and leadership to the team on their delivery of assessments, group and individual interventions.
- Demonstrate advanced clinical skills in the provision of clinical care, maintaining a client caseload commensurate with responsibilities of the role.
- Utilize frameworks to guide professional judgment, problem-solve, and manage complex situations.
- Coordinate referrals, crisis management, assessment, reviews, and transition planning within a case management framework.
- Chair and lead multi-disciplinary meetings, including those that oversee centre decision-making regarding suicide risk assessment and management, and case management of prisoners with complex needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop partnerships that contribute to operational and clinical outcomes.
- Provide high-level clinical leadership and operational management to a team delivering mental health and rehabilitation services in correctional centres.
- Contribute to ongoing operational service integrity by providing clinical supervision and leadership to the team.
- Chair and lead multi-disciplinary meetings to oversee centre decision-making and case management.
- Bachelor's degree in psychology or behavioural science is required.
- General registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is mandatory.
