Senior Risk Management Specialist

About the Role
AGL is seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Management Specialist to join our team in a Job Share capacity. As a key member of our Customer Markets team, you will work closely with our existing Senior Risk Advisor to champion a positive risk management culture and proactively support the business to identify and mitigate risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the establishment, management, and continuous improvement of risk and issues frameworks across Customer Markets, in accordance with AGL's Risk and Compliance management frameworks.
- Provide practical and pragmatic advice to the business to improve maturity of risk governance and culture.
- Manage and follow up on agreed action items and recommendations for risk mitigation and issue management.
- Provide advice across Customer Markets regarding compliance and risk management, assisting them to mature their approach to identification, assessment, and monitoring of risks and issues.
Requirements
- Broad business knowledge and demonstrated ability to partner with business and understand and communicate the balance between risk and commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated willingness and ability to take ownership and accountability of decisions and advice.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with high-quality written and verbal communication skills, and an ability to influence at all levels of the business.
- Experience in influencing stakeholders with an ability to focus on the critical issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with our people at all levels across the organisation.
