Teaching Position in Mathematics and English/Humanities

We are seeking an experienced educator to join our team as a Secondary Teacher of Mathematics and English/Humanities.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering teaching and learning programs that integrate biblical perspectives into each subject area, promoting personalized learning and fostering a positive teaching and learning culture.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to Christian faith and a good understanding of the Australian Curriculum. They will also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs that meet the needs of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs that reflect the School's mission and philosophy.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student wellbeing and achievement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and the wider school community.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in teaching Mathematics and English/Humanities at the secondary level.
  • A strong commitment to Christian faith and values.
  • Good understanding of the Australian Curriculum and its application in a Christian education setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
