Digital Systems Innovator

The North Eastern Public Health Unit seeks an experienced professional to lead a team responsible for the development, maintenance, management, and continuous improvement of informatics and analytics systems and digital environment.
Key responsibilities include designing, enhancing, and integrating databases and other systems to support operations. This role requires expertise in technology system delivery, data platforms, digital systems, and user experience.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in information technology, data science, informatics, epidemiology, analytics, or related field;
- Demonstrable experience leading technology system delivery, including cloud, database, data reporting analytics, informatics, digital innovation functions, transformation, and migration systems;
- Experience designing, developing, implementing, integrating, and improving data platforms and digital systems delivering high-quality user experience;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a consultative approach and proven ability to build productive working relationships with stakeholders and work as part of a team to influence outcomes;
- Demonstrated analytical, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills;
- Good organisational, time management, written, and verbal skills;
- Ability to use discretion, maintain confidentiality, and practice ethical conduct.
